President Tinubu Swears In New Commissioners

President Bola Tinubu has sworn in new federal commissioners for the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and the National Population Commission (NPC).

The swearing-in ceremony was held on Monday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The newly inaugurated RMAFC commissioners are Amina Gamawa from Bauchi State and Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed from Kaduna State, a former Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

Both officials took the oath of office as federal commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission.

For the National Population Commission, those sworn in include Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi (Ekiti State), Nasiru Mu’azu (Zamfara State) and Isaka Alada Yahaya (Kwara State).

Others are Professor Sadiq Isah Radda (Katsina State), Suleiman Umar (Jigawa State) and Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo (Sokoto State).

The appointments form part of efforts to strengthen the leadership of the two federal commissions.
