‘RIP’- Serena Williams’ Husband Alexis Ohanian Bids Heartfelt Farewell to American Business ‘Legend’ After His Saddening Demise

Alexis Ohanian, husband of Serena , had to bid farewell to one of his idols in the business world. During Berkshire’s annual meeting in 2018, Ohanian managed to rope in his inspiration, Buffet in an interview with CNBC. During the interview, Ohanian asked him one of the most popular questions on Reddit. He asked Buffet if he would rather fight a horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses. Buffet, amused by the question, said that he would simply go out and get the appropriate ducks and horses to have real-life illustrations.

Beyond that, he had no further insights about the question. Buffet, along with his late vice chairman, has inspired Alexis Ohanian greatly and helped him go far in the investing world. Although he met the founder of Berkshire, he never got to meet the one who helped him develop the company.

With Munger’s passing, Alexis Ohanian was saddened to learn one of his idols was no longer with us. In a post about the passing of Munger, he wrote, “ A legend. RIP”. Aged 99, Munger had worked on Berkshire’s board since 1978 and had been a close friend of the chairman, Warren Buffet, before they began working together. Ohanian, an investor himself, learned a lot from the two figures. Ever since he stepped into the world of investing, he followed the duo and learned from them.

Munger’s passing is not only a blow to the team of Berkshire Hathaway but to many who looked up to him as an investor. Like Ohanian, he touched the lives of many through his dedication.

In early 2010, Ohanian even talked about Munger’s skills as he talked about finance and investing as a career. He also went on to call him ‘a beast’ and wrote about him with passion. Munger will live large in his heart and will not have the space he amassed taken away anytime soon.
