Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has assigned portfolios to the eight newly sworn-in commissioners to replace the eight pro-Wike commissioners that recently resigned. The statement reads in part, “His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State, has approved the posting of the newly appointed Commissioners to their respective Ministries and that takes effect immediately.”
The full list of the commissioners and their respective portfolios includes; Prince Charles Beke, Ministry of Local Government Affairs, Collins Onunwo, Ministry of Transport, Prince Solomon Abel Eke, Ministry of Power and Dr. Peter Medee, Ministry of Budget & Economic Planning.
Others are; Olisaelloka Tasie-Amadi, Ministry of Works, Engr. Basoene Joshua Benibo, Ministry of Housing, Tambari Sydney Gbara, Ministry of Environment and Dr. Ovy Chinedum Chukwuma, Ministry of Education.
Danagogo who conveyed the thought of Governor Siminalayi Fubara in the statement, wished the commissioners success in their service to the government and people of the state.
