The Franco British International University in Kaduna has appointed Senator Shehu Sani as its new Chancellor.
Sani, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kaduna Central Senatorial district in the upcoming 2027 elections, in reaction, described the appointment as a great honour.
Sharing the news on his X handle, the APC chieftain vowed to elevate and sustain the institution’s highest academic standards while strengthening it to achieve its noble goals.
Sani stated, “It’s a great honor to be appointed as the Chancellor of the Franco British International University. We shall work towards sustaining and elevating its highest academic reputation and standards, and strengthening the institution to achieve its noble goals.”
Sani recently secured his party’s senatorial ticket through a direct primary after stakeholders failed to reach a consensus.
