Dassault Falcon 7x

The former Chairman of United Bank For Africa (UBA), joined the league of private jet owners in 2015. Elumelu acquired a brand new Dassault Falcon 7X private jet. Described as one of the most expensive private jets in the country, Elumelu’s Falcon 7X cost approximately $57.3 million in 2023. Dassault Falcon 7x is the first business jet in the world that is equipped with a Digital Flight Control System.

Manufactured by Dassault Aviation, Falcon FX was first presented to the public at the 2005 Paris Air Show. It is a long-range cabin that is powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A turbofans. It can also accommodate 3 crew members and 19 passengers. Reports say Elumelu’s need to travel with utmost comfort as he attends to his businesses beyond the shores of Africa, necessitated the acquisition.

Range Rover Vogue

Elumelu’s car park is filled with exotic cars and his favourite is his over 12 years Range Rover Vogue. UBA Group in a tweet once noted that Elumelu refused to upgrade the car. Because according to him, ‘there is nothing wrong with it. It still works fine, why should I change it?

Range Rover Vogue has been described as one of the most luxurious SUVs in the British Manufacturer’s lineup. It is commonly used by millionaires and billionaires. Elumelu has been sighted with his Range Rover Vogue on a number of occasions.

Benz S-class

Another expensive item, Elumelu owns is his Mercedes Benz S-class. A few years ago, the Nigerian Investor posted photos of himself posing with his Mercedes Benz S Class in London. He was captured with the S Class in front of the Dorchester Hotel, a five-star luxury hotel in London.

Ranked as the world’s best-selling luxury sedan, the Benz S-Class rear seat features an increased entertainment system, premium sound systems, more legroom, a cold box, and massage functions among others.

Ikoyi Mansion

Elumelu also owns a home in Ikoyi, Lagos. While details of the house are sketchy, the successful businessman has hosted influential figures like Davido and Nigeria’s President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his home. Features of the mansion include but are not limited to a well-spaced library, swimming pool, a large kitchen, playground, living room, private office, etc. The Ikoyi mansion also has a white lion statue.

Elumelu’s Art Collections

Elumelu can be described as a collector of contemporary African art. He once noted that “Art is more than a still object; it’s an experience.” His personal art collection could be worth millions of dollars.

One of his notable pieces is a sculpture designed by Sculptor Peju Alatise. In an Instagram post, Elumelu shared a photo of himself standing close to the “beautiful sculpture. He wrote, “I commissioned @Peju.Alatise for this beautiful sculpture for our home. Isn’t it stunning?” Elumelu further commended Nigerian artisans for creating beautiful art.

Alatise’s paintings, sculptures, and installations have been exhibited in New York, Florence, Morocco, and London. Also, her striking life-sized installation Flying Girls was featured in the exhibition’s Nigeria Pavilion at the 2017 Venice Biennale.
