Recall that Venita and Mercy unfollowed each other on Instagram, sparking speculation that their friendship has turned sour.
During a recent interview with media personality Toke Makinwa on her show, Toke Moment, Venita revealed that she was never friends with Mercy.
According to her, they talked before the Big Brother Naija All Stars show because they worked for the same brand.
During the interview, Venita also addressed the speculations that she betrayed Mercy Eke, saying that she has nothing against the Pepper Dem 2019 winner and wishes her well.
“I was not friends with Mercy before the show.
I don’t wish her any ill, my hands are completely clear, my conscience is clear”,Venita said.
Venita’s revelation comes amidst rumors that she and Adekunle have broken up.
