The blaze, suspected to have ignited from faulty electrical wiring, inflicted extensive damage on music equipment and other valuable assets worth millions of naira.

During an interview, the singer revealed that she received the distressing news while en route to the airport.

Arriving at her music studio nestled within the Eko Akete Jakonde Estate, in Lagos, Chinyere Udoma was met with a heart-wrenching sight – the entire edifice ablaze.

Expressing frustration, the singer disclosed her prior attempts to flag the landlord about the faulty wiring, yet regrettably, no corrective measures were initiated.

Udoma conveyed deep sorrow over the irreplaceable loss of equipment and the consequent setback endured.

On her Instagram page, the musician poured her heart out in an emotional letter, bravely acknowledging the overwhelming loss while steadfastly expressing her determination to embark on the path of healing and restoration.

“It was a really tough Tuesday for us at @cgvmstudios Lagos. In just a few minutes, everything we’ve worked so hard for, worth hundreds of millions, was gone, consumed by flames.

“I’m struggling to find the right words and don’t even know how to start explaining what happened.

“All I can say is that we’ve lost everything, but by some miracle, no one was hurt.

“We’re in a state of shock and if we’re a bit slow to respond, please understand.

“This is a huge setback, but it hasn’t defeated us.

“Right now, more than ever, we need your prayers and support.
