Abdullahi had said, “If what you have mentioned are anything to go by, then chances are that the election is won by the PDP, because the contentions here are the issues that you have enumerated. We believe what we have tabled before the Tribunal is good enough to have this election cancelled.”

Abdullahi, who spoke during an interview on Arise Television, reacted to the victory of Senator Ademola Adeleke at the Supreme Court. According to him, Adeleke won the election, and it was meaniless for Oyetola to challenge his victory in the first place. He expressed optimism that the outcome of the case against Tinubu and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) would favour the PDP.
