The River State Governor who spoke during the swearing in of Mr. Dagogo Israel Iboroma, SAN as AG and CJ of the state said he is happy that Iboroma is coming in as a SAN, which he said portrays him as a hardworking and thorough bred lawyer.
“I am happy that you are already a SAN before coming in; it means he must have been a thorough man. Not the one that it is when you are here, they now pay money to give you SAN and when you become a SAN the only thing you do is to sabotage the government.
“Instead of you to close your mouth, you go publicly to tell people that you are the Chief Law Officer. Chief Law officer and you went to stand before a magistrate court. At that time you did not remember that you were the Chief Law Officer, going against the ethics of your job. Shame to you wherever you are. Like I said you will get your reward not in the next world but in this world”, the governor vowed.
Fubara said the jungle has matured and that he will now probe governance in the state through a commission of inquiry and urged the Iboroma to brace up.
“Brace up, I am not going back on it. Any man who cocks a gun, shuts it, the bullet may not come out because the cork of the gun is in safety, but he has already … so if you have a way to bury that person, or the group of person, bury them”, he said, adding that there is glaring evidence of sabotage against his governance but that he is determined to move on by taking decisions that may hurt some people.
He said that even if he is in governance as a result of mistakes, he remains the governor, adding that God does not make mistakes. He said he will continue to be where he is to finish what he has to do for his people and leave with a good name that his children and great grandchildren will be proud of.

It has become very clear that there is no headway to this disagreement and for a lot of reasons, there are visible evidence that there is sabotage, delibrate attempt to sabotage this administration. For that reason we will have to move forward and moving forward, if it means taking decisions that is going to hurt anybody.
Even if it is a mistake, by the special grace of God I am here today. God doesn’t make mistakes and let me appeal to them also, let them continue to make mistakes so that i will continue to be where I am and finish what i want to do for you people.
