It has again been claimed that Arsenal have decided that they will allow Thomas Partey to depart the club once the transfer window officially opens up. The Ghana international has been limited in his starts for the club this season because of injury, and Arsenal must decide whether to cash in on the player at the end of the season or risk losing him on a free transfer in just over a year’s time.

Now the Givemesport website has claimed that ARSENAL

have made the decision that they will allow the midfielder to leave at the end of the season rather thane let him depart when his contract is up in the summer of 2025.

However – despite the fact that he has barely featured for the club – despite all the speculation about his future and despite the fact Mikel Arteta does not really need Partey in the side, Arteta recently spoke about the star – he said:

‘He better have his head here because we are playing for big things and that’s what we expect,’ the Arsenal head coach told reporters ahead of the side’s trip to Brighton.

‘We need him because he’s a top player, a very important player for us and you can see on the pitch as well what kind of impact he can have for us.

‘He’s our player, he’s got one more year’s contract and I’m really happy with him.’

When Partey is fit – he is a very solid addition to that squad – but he is never fit anymore and the Gunners need to get rid.

If the right offer arrives in the summer ARSENAL FC

should take it – and use those funds to add a striker to the attack
