The 100 billion Naira Legacy project of the church kicked off in March, 2021.

The project involved the demolition of the old Faith Academy, as well as Word of Faith Bible Institute among other facilities. It also includes the transformation of 50,000 capacity into an overflow of 106,000 seater facility.

This Legacy Project (The Ark) is a N100 billion project which includes ‘The Ark’ a 106,000 capacity church auditorium.

As at the time of filing this report, all the escalators, the travelators, all the air conditioning are almost fixed.

Although the project was first announced about few years ago as the “Faith Theatre” but the ongoing Winners Chapel’s 100,000-seat stadium-like project was later retitled as “The Ark”, and designed to cater for the growing attendance of worshippers.

Sited on about 1,000 hectares of land at the old Faith Academy compound within the premises of the current church building, The Ark will specifically accommodate 100,000 seats and comprise a 24-floor mission tower (International Headquarters Facility) made up of two-twin towers of 12 floors each.

It was gathered that the Ark is conceived to replace the four/five services in the current 50,000-auditorium, as the 100,000 would reduce the number of services, but accommodate all the attendees on Sunday and during Shiloh or other special services.

Some of the unique features of the theatre include prayer booths, the nations accommodation, baptism pool, twin Tower (12 storey building), worship centre (100,000 seaters), dominion Bookshop, WOFBI (3,000 capacity Bible School Facility) and an audio/visual theatre.

Other likely features include a shopping mall, food court, rotating altar and 100 per cent fully air-conditioned.

The Ark’s” architectural design was modelled after the exact shape of biblical Noah’s ark with its height like a 12/14-storey building.

The Ark of Oyedepo will specifically accommodate 106,000 seats. This includes a 24-Floor Mission Tower made up of two twin towers of 12 floors each. Upon completion, the existing 50,000-seater Faith Tabernacle will be converted into an overflow facility.

Presently, a lot of private land investors are rushing to the area. We have two set of investors though. There are people who are going there to buy land and build house of their choice. We also have another set of investors who are rushing there to buy acres of land to keep and then sell later, probably two years after. This is the common practice in the axis recently. From our findings, the price of land has jacked up in the axis, while the house rent has also increased drastically. This is so because of day to day development of the area. The 100, 000 capacity auditorium has contributed to the recent rush in the axis. From our findings, if all goes well, the project should be completed this year.

Another attractive factor is good roads around the axis. Some of the roads were tarred by the Bishop and this has opened up many villages and towns in that surrounding, as it makes it so easy for many people to buy land in different villages of their choice because of good road networks.

Currently, price of land at Iyana Iyesi Road, Sango Ota, Ogun starts from 12 million naira per plot.

At Ijana Village, Ado-Odo, Ota Via Owode, Yewa Egbado, Sango Ota, Ogun, a plot of land goes for

¦ 2,000,000. Some of the closest place to Winners Church, Ota, Ogun State, Sango Ota, Ogun sell for 15 million per plot.
