The UEFA Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid was forced to be delayed by over two minutes due to three separate pitch invasions. The both teams took to the Wembley Stadium pitch in the European showpiece for the prize of being crowned champions of Europe. The first invader ran up to Jude Bellingham and took the opportunity to take a picture before two more followed. A fourth invader attempted to follow but was stopped.
Dortmund midfielder Marcel Sabitzer took one of the invaders down himself, as reported by TNT Sports commentator Darren Fletcher. The game did eventually continue after the stewards got the invaders off the pitch.
