Hadi Sirika , accompanied by his daughter Fatima, his son-in-law Jalal Sule Hamma, and a company named Al Buraq Global Investment Limited, faced the charges before Justice Sylvanus Oriji.
Both his daughter and son-in-law entered pleas of not guilty to the six counts brought against them.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) represented the federal government in prosecuting the case against them.
Subsequent to their denial of the allegations, the defense counsels for each defendant sought bail, which was granted by the Judge.
Justice Oriji approved bail for the three defendants, set at N100 million each, along with two sureties of equal value.
The sureties are required to be reputable individuals with verifiable residential addresses, and one of them must possess real estate with a valid Certificate of Occupancy endorsed by the FCT Minister.
Furthermore, the Judge stipulated that the defendants are not allowed to leave the country without explicit permission from the court.
In the event that they are unable to meet the conditions of bail, Justice Oriji directed that they be detained in prison until the bail requirements are fulfilled.
The trial for the defendants has been scheduled for June 11 by the court.
