Ohida who has earlier visited the foster parents of the abandoned baby girl in Abobo alongside the newly sworn in Secretary of Okehi Local Government, Hon. Matthew James, donated baby clothes as well as other essentials.

He advised against the barbaric act of dumping babies on the road because the parent cannot cater for the child, urging people to refrain from such behavior as it connotes irresponsibility.

He encouraged anyone facing similar situation to reach out to relatives, community and political leaders for support.

The former Governor’s aide said he extended the philanthropic gesture to the abandoned baby in memory of Hajiya Hauwa Bello.

He commended the leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state, Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello, for his purposeful leadership and thanked him for leaving Kogi state better than he met it.
