This move is part of the IGP’s commitment to enhance the intelligence capabilities of the Police Force, aimed at addressing the country’s crime rate.

The decision to post ACPs to these crucial positions reflects the IGP’s vision to strengthen the Intelligence Department at all levels of the Force. Upon assuming office, the IGP reactivated the Presidential approval to elevate the Force Intelligence Bureau to the status of a Department, appointing DIG Habu Sanni to oversee this new Department of Force Intelligence.

In a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Tuesday, it was mentioned that the newly appointed Senior Officers are tasked with deploying intelligence-based assets to combat crimes in their respective areas of responsibility.

The IGP emphasized the importance of professionalism and leveraging their experience to fortify the existing intelligence architecture of the Force. The posting is effective immediately.
