Bullies Laughed at Her ‘Ugly’ Legs – But what she Did in Response Silenced Them all

A couple sitting by the pool started laughing, pointing at me and making fun of me as soon as I took the cover off.

So what did I do? I took a deep breath, smiled and entered the pool. It was a huge moment for me. A moment that changed me.

I was no longer the same girl. Yes, I still have a lot of loose skin, I still feel insecure sometimes, and yes, I may still be made fun of.”

To be honest, yes, it bothered me. But I won’t let people like that affect me anymore!

I will not let what other people think of me stop me from living my life.”

They don’t know me. They have no idea how hard I worked to lose those 150 kgs. They don’t know how I recovered from difficult surgeries.

They have no right to sit, point and laugh at me. That’s why I smiled.”
