Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anite, made this known in a post on her X handle on Thursday.
She said those who missed out on the presidential grant scheme can also explore a single digit interest loan whose application is currently ongoing.
She said, “Many have already received their grants—thank you for your patience! For those waiting, please hold tight.
” The disbursement process is ongoing in batches and NOT yet completed. All remaining successful applicants will receive their alerts between now and the end of May. No further action is needed on your part for now.
” For those who missed out on the nanobusiness grant, you may be eligible for a single digit interest loan. Applications are still ongoing at fedgrantandloan.gov.ng

reports that the Minister had recently given an update on the disbursement of N50,000 to artisans and small business owners in the country under the presidential grant scheme.
She said about 150,000 Nigerians out of the targeted 1 million have so far benefited from the scheme.
The Minister , however, advised applicants not to fall victim to fraudulent people demanding payment to access the grant, as the scheme is completely free.
“Beware of fraudulent and unscrupulous parties demanding payment for grant processing. The presidential conditional grant is completely free—no fees required. The ONLY official source for federal grants and loans is fedgrantandloan.gov.ng.,” she said.
