She said, “I have always been addressing it. I know I will address it forever and I will address it today again. Spirituality is not limited to a religion. I am not a gospel singer, I am a singer.

If you are looking for a classification, you can say I am a spiritual singer. I always say that I am Sola Allyson and I am a singer. And it is because it is strange to society that you can do music without being vulgar.”

She said there was not a specific category, either gospel or secular, before her arrival, and she is identified as a Christian, acknowledging that the spirit of Jesus Christ extends beyond the limit of the church. She alleged that the essence of Jesus Christ is not limited to a particular group or being a gospel artiste or not.

Further talking, she said that Jesus, in her perspective, didn’t come exclusively for Christians alone; rather, He came for the entire world. The Bible states, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever…”

She alleged that this particular scripture shaped her understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
