Remember how the lawmaker supported Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president, during the most recent general elections?

He also stated clearly that it is not the Igbos’ turn to produce the nation’s next leader.

The former governor, however, was seen crying after the 10th Senate election and claimed that the Nigerian state had unfairly treated him and imprisoned him, adding that it was now Ndigbo’s turn to lead the senate.

The industrialist responded by saying that not electing the former governor, his counterpart from Ebonyi State, Engineer Dave Umahi, or any other politician from the South-East is a positive step because they all claimed that the South-East was not going to win the presidency.

   

He cautioned Igbo politicians to use their words carefully, adding that two of them had worked against Peter Obi by claiming that it was not their people’s time to produce the president and that they instead wanted to lead the 10th Senate.

We Ndigbo, especially the politicians, should exercise caution while you are harming our brothers, he remarked. Whatever you said or did to hurt your brother will eventually come around to bite you
