Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu to ensure maximum use of the media to publicise his administration’s activities. The former military ruler made the commendation when the governor led him to the Sokoto residence of former Governor Aliyu Wamakko. While congratulating the governor for executing several developmental projects, Obasanjo told him to continue with the good work he started since in came to power.
He advised Aliyu to focus on agri-business for revenue generation and providing jobs for youths. Obasanjo thanked Wamakko for contributing greatly to Aliyu’s victory in last year’s governorship poll.
