Limpopo schoolgirl ‘takes her own life’ after her teacher allegedly told her she was the ugliest girl in class

The family of the Grade 10 pupil, from Mashao Secondary School in Ga-Ntata village in Bolobedu, Limpopo, said they believed she had died of a drug overdose after being bullied by a teacher at school.

Mamaila’s sister Thabelo Mbedzi, 28, told News24 that she had been found dead in her bedroom early Monday morning. They also found a container of painkillers and a suicide note.
