Aminu said the narratives that went viral on social media about his marriage were untrue. He said they had decided to keep quite about the whole issue but were advised to say the facts. He said contrary to what was reported, his wife is 21 years old and that she wasn’t forced to marry him but rather made the choice herself out of love. He said he hopes blackmailers would leave them alone.
