The lawsuit was filed for the defamatory use of the name, image of Mercy Chinwo in the secular music audio and video.
Obidiz was ordered to stop using her name to promote the song and he should take down the song from all digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple music, Sound Cloud and others.
He is to tender an apology to Mercy Chinwo privately and on social media. Failure to comply with her demands will lead to a legal battle and he will be ordered by the court to pay Mercy Chinwo 2 billion naira for damages.
