She was born and brought up in a humble family. She was enrolled in school, and when she completed her secondary education, she moved to Nairobi where she was working as a hairdresser.
A few years later, she met a man who asked for her hand in marriage after a few months of dating. One year later, she conceived, but her pregnancy journey was full of complications. She would pass out, and sometimes would experience difficulties in breathing.
She went to the hospital and was diagnosed with a heart problem. The doctors suggested she undergo a cesarean when she was seven months pregnant to save her baby. One month later, when she was discharged, her husband never wanted anything to do with her or the baby.
He used to video call his mistresses in her presence and ask them to undress. Whenever she would tell him to stop cheating on her, he would beat her up. She was advised to walk out of that marriage, and life has become hard since she was prescribed some medication to take daily and can’t do hard jobs.
She is requesting well-wishers to come through for her to start a business to be able to support her child and pay her bills and her medical expenses.
