In reaction to this, Briggs disclosed that the president wrote the resolution but refused to read it and therefore handed the documents to the former governor of Rivers State, Peter Odili, to read.
In a video posted by Channels Television, David Briggs said, “He wrote the resolution, but he refused to read it. He handed the resolution to Dr. Odili to read and interject, and each time he interjects, it comes with a soft, polite, and smiling insult”.
