The relationship between the duo is second to none. Even when there were a lot of ups and downs in what people feel about Morayo’s opinion during her TV shows, her husband stood solidly behind her, not minding the fact that she is a public figure. Morayo has also known how to balance her Career with her Marriage that none is affecting the other. Femi Afolabi Brown does not like to attend parties. You will only see him at important occasions, alongside his wife, Morayo.

The Obafemi Awolowo University law graduate is from a rich pedigree whose background speaks class. He is simply from an illustrious family from Ekiti State.

Few days back when Morayo launched her book, Becoming the Queen of Talk TV alongside the celebration of her 10 years on TV, Femi Afolabi Brown threw all his weight behind his wife and made sure the event was a huge success. People at the book launch who had not seen Mr. Brown before had the opportunity to hail him for standing strong behind his wife at all times.

For someone who is reserved, his private life is not what you can get to see or hear everywhere, but in the book Morayo launched, she revealed abit about their life to the world. During his opening remarks at the launch, he opened up on why he initially did not want Morayo to publish the book at the last stage. He said he was of the opinion that Morayo should burn the book and rewrite some parts. Why? Read what he said;

“Throughout the time Morayo was writing the book, we came to launch, I did not participate, I did not contribute much because I thought I knew all the stories, everything she was going to write about since I met her, but when the final copies came out, the finished product, it looked fascinating to me and because of that I read it back to back. Unto my shock, I realized Morayo exposed herself, she stripped herself virtually naked in that book. And I raised an alarm that Morayo, look, you cannot do this to yourself, this book must be burnt and you must rewrite some parts. Then Morayo said to me, Femi, look all my life, the truth has always set me free. And secondly a time has come for me to run, and I need to unload these burdens in my mind, in my spirit, into that book, and now that book is out there, I will be able to run. And I asked what is the point of running naked? What is the beauty of running naked if you are running, and she said, look, if you are running like Usain bolt, yes, your nakedness can be seen but if you are running like Barry Allen, the Flash, nobody can see you, they will only see the flashes of the colours of your suit. That is how I am going to run.”

So Morayo I said to you, the Barry Allen, the flash the fictitious physfy character, but there is a real hero in the first kings, I pray for you now Morayo, the hand of God will come upon you, you will run faster than Elijah. You will run faster than your fictitious role model, Barry Allen And when you run, you will never be naked. You will never be perceived as naked. You will actually not be naked in Jesus name.

Femi and Morayo Afolabi Brown have been married for 12 years. Their love story began many years ago when Morayo was working at HITV, they were introduced to each other by Morayo’s colleague, dated for about a year and they got married. In one of Morayo’s interviews, she revealed “I met my husband in my office through a friend of mine, she introduced us, then He googled me, sent me a friend request, then from there we became friends. A year later, we got married. I was 30 year old at that time. When my husband saw me, he was ready, and I was also ready”. Well, we met physically at a Karaoke bar on the Island. We were connected on Facebook by a mutual friend and chatted online for a while till we met. I cannot recall the first thing he said to me. The TV personality, Morayo Afolabi Brown and her husband, Femi Afolabi Brown always celebrate their years of marital bliss with each other. The “Your View” host and her husband got married in 2011 and have been blessed with four children, three girls and a boy.

Marking her 11th year anniversary, last year Morayo took to her Instagram page to heap praises on her husband. She noted how they have weathered the downtimes and enjoyed the heck out of good times together. She prayed for God to keep them together in good health, joy, happiness, peace and mega wealth. It’s been 11 years of this awesomeness. It comes with its own ups and downs. We weather the downtimes and enjoy the heck out of the good times together. Her husband wrote: “At the time the Aka Bashoruns were planning an elaborate wedding ceremony for their daughter, I was on my knees begging God for a great marriage because I had been through horrible relationships in the past.
