UPDATES: CAF Announces Shortlists for 2023 CAF Awards

On Friday, CAF announced the final shortlist of the Player of the Year, Interclub Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, National Team of the Year, and Club of the Year. Each category has a shortlist of either five or ten contenders. The ultimate winners will be determined through votes from a panel consisting of the CAF Technical Committee, media professionals, head coaches, captains of member associations, and clubs involved in the group stages of the Interclub competitions.
The Awards Gala is scheduled to take place on Monday, 11 December 2023, at the Palais des Congrès, Marrakech, Morocco.
