The rapist, who spoke Yoruba while describing the details of his escapade, could be seen gleefully telling his friends how he pinned down the lady and raped her.
While detailing the rape, the young man said,“…I had removed my pant… I had not removed her clothes or even done anything to her. I knew she would be afraid of the penis. God even saved me, the trouser I wore was [a pair of] shorts. I removed it together with my boxers at once. My penis was hard. i now stood like a giant. I had shaved everywhere… I told her I was *** and she shoud kindly allow us to have sex, but she said, “Please, in God’s name. I am scared. I don’t want to be pregnant.” I knelt down in front of her. As I saw that she wanted to get up, I quickly pinned her down. If not that I used my power, we almost broke the televison on that day. She nearly hit my back against something. You know she has more weight more than I do. I pinned her against the bed and held her two hands with one of mine. As I penetrated her, her body relaxed and I started thrusting.”

The video has sparked outrage since it surfaced online, with many Nigerians decrying the manner in which the guy recounted the incident without an iota of remorse. While some comments called for his arrest and prosecution, others hoped that the lady being talked about would report the incident to the police.
An X user with @Adebanke___ as her handle wrote,“This is how they casually gist about rape, just listen to how his friends are giggling in the background.”
@Chrisbamidele, another X user, wrote,“The police should be finsing that guy and arrest him immediately. If he’s in Lagos @Lagosdsva should please step in and do the needful. He’s a rapist who just confessed to rape and assault.”
@dr_adetountanni also wrote,“I hope he rots in Jail. I also hope his friends who were listening to him and smiling do time too ~ small 20yrs for being an aider will be okay for them.”
