Ododo named 16 commissioner nominees to be screened by the State House of Assembly as members of his cabinet shortly after taking his oath of office as the 5th executive governor of Kogi state in Lokoja on Saturday.
Engr Joseph was one of the fresh faces in the commissioner nominees list as many of them had served under the administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
Reacting to the announcement in a statement, Coordinator of Team JOS for Ododo, a grassroot mobilization group, Team Mr. Bamidele Sunday, said Engr Joseph’s nomination was well deserved considering his enormous contributions to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bamidele stated that Engineer Joseph was the brain behind the massive victory recorded by All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yagba West local government area of Kogi state in the recently concluded governorship election.
“Aside politics, Engineer Joseph Olusegun Stephen is a trusted technocrat who has a penchant for delivering top quality projects.
“He is a reliable and dependable manager of men and resources. His appointment is no doubt a befitting promotion for a hard working man,” he said.
He assured Governor Ododo that the commissioner nominee will not disappoint him.
