Wike, who led the G5 governors to protest against the outcome of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary, is said to have worked for the APC during the February 25 presidential election won by President Bola Tinubu.
His recent romance with the APC as well as frequent visits to Tinubu at the Presidential Villa has sparked speculations that he will soon join the ruling party.
