This was just as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) legislator also pledged personal support fund for “indigent students genuinely in need.”

He stated this during a town hall meeting with the people of his constituent at Ekiadolor community, Ovia Northeast local government area of Edo state.

Aiguobarueghian said the empowerment is in fulfillment of his electioneering promises to the people, adding, “I went to school with not a very rich background and it was difficult.

“As a result of that, I have always had this nag to support any indigent student that has genuine needs.”

He described the town hall meeting as apt, because “it serves as a venue for the people to access people in government. My happiness is that what they expressed as their needs are exactly the same thing that we are thinking is the duty of government.”
