The AYA has accused the NLC President of sabotaging Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s May 29 inauguration.

The CNF defended the country’s top labor leader, saying he promotes democracy and the separation of power and should not be accused of separatist or ethnic agendas.

CNF, which told journalists in Arewa House Kaduna that it is an organization of young, intelligent, and committed people passionate about the growth, development, and unity of not just the North but Nigeria as a nation, urged Nigerians to ignore AYA’s unfounded allegation.

The Forum’s deputy spokesperson, Comrade Mohammed Aminu, urged security services to reject the “baseless” allegation.

“We are here today to express our disappointment over the recent press conference organized by our sister association, the Arewa Youth Assembly (AYA).

AYA’s charges and allegations against NLC President Joe Ajaero on his supposed conspiracy to impede the President-Elect’s inauguration were shocking and disappointing.

We worry that AYA will drag the NLC into politics to sow discord and blackmail. The Nigeria Labour Congress is pan-Nigerian and cannot be ruled by primordial feelings like religion and ethnicity.

We deny that the NLC will sabotage Senator Bola Tinubu’s May 29 inauguration. As a peaceful and law-abiding organization, we would not support any action that could disrupt the peace and stability of our beloved nation….CONTINUE READING
