Onanuga responds when Apampa requests that LP attorneys brief him on Peter Obi’s petition.

Veteran journalist and spokesperson of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga, has reacted after the acting national chairman of the Labour Party, Bashir Lamidi Apampa, gave the lawyers representing Peter Obi and the Labour Party in the ongoing presidential election petition case a 48-hour ultimatum to brief and update him about the proceedings….CONTINUE READING...CONTINUE READING

Mr. Apampa made the statement on Friday after his victory at the Federal High Court in Abuja. He boasted that he is now in charge of the party’s affairs and hence deserves to be briefed about the post-election petition against Tinubu.

While reacting to the news, Bayo Onanuga stated that Apampa’s order would rattle Peter Obi and his team of lawyers since the acting National Chairman is against the petition. He added that Mr. Apampa wants all the cases withdrawn.
