A Twitter user, Sodiq Tade (@Premier), who shared a short video footage of Obi greeting Atiku while the latter was comfortably seating in his car, said the Labour Party presidential candidate was trying to kneel to greet Atiku.

He said in a string of tweets: “Atiku should have snubbed him. OG trying to kneel down to greet after betraying his mentor.

“I hope people around Atiku will tell him to stay away from those that are ready to betray him. Know your ‘political enemies’ and treat them as such.

“Peter Obi has been trying to get close to Atiku after the last election. He has greeted Atiku at the event, OG still had to go and meet Atiku inside car again. Atiku should be wary of such character around him.

Another Twitter user, @Updateboyz, described Obi, who running mate to Atiku in the 2019 presidential election as a prodigal son.

“Prodigal son don dey find way to come back home,” he tweeted.

On his part, Adesina Foluso, said : “See how calm Atiku is. For someone that ran him street, Atiku no suppose allow him near him car. Man sabotaged his boss and now doing oju anu.”

While @crownlessking said :”May Atiku’s clean heart and simplicity not be his end. I sometimes get tired of how civil and mature he is even as it’s a good thing”.

However, some other tweeps disagreed with the earlier tweets, saying Atiku was the greater betrayal.

According to @mazigomez, : “It’s Nigerians that should be weary of Atiku for helping APC and Buhari to power in 2015.

” There is no betrayal greater than that.”
